Just caught the Monday morning flash crash - Bitcoin dropping hard, took a hit of nearly 4% in just an hour, sliding from around $95.5k all the way down to $91.9k before bouncing back to the $92.8k range. Pretty wild to watch happen so fast.
Obviously Bitcoin dropping wasn't the only thing tanking. Spot gold and silver actually went the opposite direction and hit record highs, meanwhile Nasdaq futures were down about 1%. The timing is interesting because over the weekend Trump was making noise about tariffs on Greenland-related stuff, and now reports are saying a bunch of EU countries are considering hitting back with tariffs on like $93 billion worth of American goods coming into Europe.
So it looks like the market's reacting to all this geopolitical tension. When Bitcoin dropping happens alongside broader market uncertainty and trade war signals, it usually means people are getting nervous about what comes next. The whole thing had that classic flash crash feel - sharp move down, then partial recovery. Curious if this is just a shakeout or if we'll see more pressure.
