Analyst Jay Hatfield stated that investors are trying to digest mixed earnings reports, and concerns about the disruptive impact of artificial intelligence on the software industry have resurfaced. He pointed out that the market had previously risen sharply, and some investors are seeking to reduce their positions, and using the war as an excuse is not necessarily a bad thing.
