Golden Finance reports that on April 24, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman shared on a social platform an email that NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang sent to him, which included an email Huang sent to all NVIDIA employees, asking them to use OpenAI’s Codex programming tool. In the email, Jensen Huang wrote: “Dear NVIDIA employees, the OpenAI Codex based on GPT-5.5 has now been officially released and is open to all NVIDIA employees! Our 10,000 employees—covering every department including engineering, product, legal, marketing, finance, sales, human resources, operations, and developer programs—have all experienced it in advance, and have already created many amazing results… Codex is not only for software teams; everyone should use Codex agents. They are our teammates—our superpowers that enable us to surpass what we’ve been able to do before. Better, smarter, faster. The OpenAI and NVIDIA teams have built a Codex lab within Endeavor, with the goal of greatly facilitating your onboarding and learning. Over the next few weeks, a series of online seminars will be held. Let’s move together into the light-speed era. Welcome to the age of artificial intelligence.”
