I’m just the kind of person who casually checks charts, but lately I’ve been increasingly interested in watching a project’s treasury expenditures and milestones—I don’t really pay much attention to how grand they sound. To put it plainly, where the money is going and whether anything actually takes shape afterward is much easier to read than whitepapers: things like development, audits, and community tools—progress you can see—even if it’s slower than expected is fine. What I fear most is the kind of situation where, while they’re loudly shouting about an “ecosystem explosion,” the treasury keeps shuffling around, and in the end all that’s left are a bunch of collaboration posters…

These past couple of days, the group has also been circulating screenshots about stablecoin regulation, reserve audits, and all sorts of “we’re about to de-peg” screenshots—everyone’s mood instantly spikes. Anyway, I trust verifiable things more now: milestones updated monthly, expenditure details that match the on-chain records, and the courage to do a post-mortem when problems arise. As for everything else, just treat it as noise—don’t scare yourself into not being able to sleep.
