KelpDAO hacker completes "coin washing," nearly 2,000 BTC transferred out; Balancer attacker active again after 5 months of silence
BlockBeats News, April 24 — According to PeckShield monitoring, the KelpDAO attacker has transferred all funds from Ethereum to the Bitcoin network, mainly through THORChain routing, totaling approximately 1,979 BTC, with the funds essentially “washed out.”
Meanwhile, Balancer, after being silent for 5 months, has resumed activity. The attacker has started cross-chain swapping about $700k worth of ETH for BTC via THORChain, entering the money laundering stage.
