I just researched the xion airdrop in depth and found it quite interesting. The XION project, a Layer 1 blockchain that doesn’t require a wallet, has just announced the "Believe in Something" program with 10 million tokens $XION ( equivalent to 5% of the total supply). Currently, about 72.5 million tokens are circulating, with a total supply of 200 million.

The strength of the xion airdrop lies in the way they distribute it: 69% is allocated to the XION community ( testnet users, developers, active Discord members), and 31% is for those who hold tokens/NFTs from partner ecosystems such as SPX6900, Gigachad, Based Brett. Snapshots were taken on 6/3/2024 and 15/7/2024 to ensure fairness.

What’s great is that XION has enabled early trading on some exchanges, so anyone who received the airdrop checker on 12/11/2024 can check their eligibility. The mainnet has been activated, so eligible users can now claim tokens. Anyone who participates in the testnet, contributes on Discord, or owns NFTs from partner projects all have a chance.

Token $XION is used to pay network fees, staking to secure the network, governance, and other ecosystem features. The token distribution is relatively balanced among the community, developers, and strategic participants. What to note is that this xion airdrop is not a way to make quick money; rather, it’s a way for XION to recognize people who trust their vision of making Web3 more accessible.

If you participated in the testnet or have links to partner projects, go check your eligibility on the Airdrop Checker. Remember: there are always risks when participating in any crypto event—prices can fluctuate—so consider your risk tolerance before deciding.
