On April 24, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman shared an email from NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang on social media, which included a message directed to all NVIDIA employees, urging them to use OpenAI’s Codex programming tool. In the email, Huang wrote: ‘Dear NVIDIA employees, the OpenAI Codex based on GPT-5.5 has officially launched and is now available to all NVIDIA employees! Our 10,000 employees—spanning engineering, product, legal, marketing, finance, sales, human resources, operations, and developer projects—have had early access and have created many amazing results with it… Codex is not just for software teams; everyone should use Codex agents. They are our teammates, providing us with superpowers that allow us to surpass previous limits. Better, smarter, faster. The OpenAI and NVIDIA teams have built a Codex lab in Endeavor to greatly facilitate your onboarding learning. A series of online seminars will be held in the coming weeks. Let’s step into the era of light speed together. Welcome to the age of artificial intelligence.’
