An explosion and fire occurred at a residential home in Pennsylvania, resulting in the deaths of one mother and six children.

On April 20, local time, according to a notice, an explosion occurred at a residential home in central Pennsylvania and triggered a fire. The blast killed a mother and her six children; the children were between 3 and 11 years old. Pennsylvania police said in a statement that on the morning of April 19, local time, firefighters received a report that a residential home in Clinton County had exploded and caught fire. After firefighters arrived at the scene, they confirmed that seven people were trapped inside, but because the entire building had been engulfed in flames, they could not enter to search and rescue, and all seven ultimately died. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. (The Paper)
