It seems that Shiba Inu has made an interesting announcement. They are teasing two major updates on the Shibarium network, which are attracting quite a bit of attention.

The first is the enhancement of privacy features. They plan to implement Zama's fully homomorphic encryption technology to enable encrypted smart contracts and confidential blockchain activities. This privacy upgrade for the Shiba Inu project is scheduled to go live before Q2 2026, so it's relatively soon.

The second is a partnership with AI gaming company TokenPlay. The goal appears to be expanding the utility of the SHIB token. Given the accelerating use of AI in gaming, this move seems well-timed.

Following this announcement from Shiba Inu, the SHIB price has reacted. It has increased by 0.76% over the past 24 hours, with a circulating market cap of approximately $363 million. Honestly, the simultaneous progress on privacy features and gaming collaborations isn't a bad move for expanding SHIB's use cases. Especially, the privacy feature could serve as a differentiator from competitors.

As such announcements continue, community expectations will likely rise, so we should keep an eye on future implementation progress.
