State Council: Further expand pilot programs for opening up fields such as value-added telecommunications, biotechnology, and wholly foreign-owned hospitals

The State Council issued opinions on promoting the expansion and quality improvement of the service industry. The opinions point out to steadily advance the opening and cooperation of the service industry. Further expand pilot projects in the fields of value-added telecommunications, biotechnology, and wholly foreign-owned hospitals. Improve the management system of negative lists for cross-border service trade. Enhance the capacity for services such as data outbound compliance assessment and security certification. Strengthen service trade cooperation with key countries and regions, and coordinate the layout of major open cooperation platforms such as the construction of demonstration zones for innovative development of service trade. Promote the export of cultural and tourism services, and push for the expansion of inbound consumption.
