Odaily Planet Daily News: Senior Republicans recently called U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick to request his intervention regarding the involvement plans in Texas by the Fellowship PAC, a crypto political action committee supported by his former company Cantor Fitzgerald.

The PAC previously disclosed in FEC filings that it planned to spend $1.75 million to support Ken Paxton, raising concerns within the party about its involvement in sensitive primaries. An informed source said the PAC ultimately did not run the related ads, and the Republican side later stated that the concerns had been alleviated. Fellowship PAC is connected to Tether, which previously announced plans to raise $100 million for the 2026 election, and has currently raised about $11 million. (Axios)
