Stop-loss really feels a bit like a breakup, the more you drag it out, the more you think "wait a little longer, maybe it'll turn around," but in the end, not only do the wounds on the account grow bigger, but the opportunity cost is also quietly accruing interest there. Recently, I saw another cross-chain bridge issue, and that on-chain "waiting for confirmation" sentiment quickly spreads, everyone is afraid to act, I get anxious too, but the more anxious I get, the easier it is to mistake a bad position for faith and hold on to it.

I now treat myself as if I’m raising succulents: overwatering causes root rot, stacking positions too aggressively is the same. When it’s time to prune roots, just do it; admitting a loss is actually relieving, and the remaining ones can be slowly replanted, isolating the risk. Being able to sleep well is better than anything else.
