Golden Finance reports that on April 24th, U.S. President Trump reiterated on the 23rd that he is under no pressure and not in a hurry to reach an agreement with Iran regarding ending the conflict, and he expressed his desire to achieve a “best” and “permanent” deal. Trump posted on social media that the timing is on the U.S. side, saying he is “perhaps the one with the least psychological pressure,” “I have the most ample time in the world, while Iran does not.” The upcoming situation will only become increasingly unfavorable for Iran, “time is not on their side.” Trump stated that he could reach an agreement with Iran now, but he wants the deal to be “permanent,” preventing Iran from ever acquiring nuclear weapons. Therefore, he does not want to rush himself, “we have enough time.” When asked whether he would consider using nuclear weapons against Iran, Trump replied “no,” and claimed that even without launching a nuclear strike, the U.S. has already “completely destroyed” Iran.
