Gate News, April 24 — Tom Lee’s Bitmine, the largest Ethereum vault company, staked approximately $ETH million USD worth of Ethereum in the past 24 hours, bringing its total staked holdings to more than 70% of its overall holdings. The latest batch of about 75,600 ETH was transferred for staking to a major CEX on Thursday morning, after previously allocating 61,200 ETH on Wednesday — this was the company’s first batch, roughly about three weeks ago. According to on-chain data, Bitmine has currently staked about 3.5 million ETH, valued at approximately 81 hundred million USD, accounting for 70.1% of its total holdings. In addition, three wallets possibly linked to the company, or that received about $320 million USD worth of 100,000 ETH before Thursday’s staking, would bring its total holdings to approximately 5.08 million ETH. Bitmine now controls more than 4.1% of the total Ethereum supply, expanding its advantage to over 580% compared with its recent peer SharpLink, which holds about 868,699 ETH. The company plans to migrate its Ethereum vault to MAVAN, a staking platform launched internally that went live last month. Based on current yields, its annualized staking rewards are expected to be close to $234 million USD. Bitmine’s shares $300 NASDAQ: BMNR( have fallen about 55% since October and traded around ) on Thursday, as Ethereum itself dropped 3.5% to $2,317 that day. Last edited on 2026-04-24 08:17:24
