I set a rule for myself: no matter how good it looks, the position size must be small enough to "sleep well tonight."

Holding spot is mostly not because I lack confidence, but because a drop makes me imagine scenarios where deposits become harder to add or withdraw, and taxes become heavier, making me want to run;
Futures are even more direct, and when my mood is anxious, I want to use leverage to immediately recover losses, but instead I get pierced by a needle and burst.

To put it simply, I now prioritize risk management over opinions: I don't know how the market will move, but having a position size that allows me to wait and admit mistakes means I won't be led by price emotions every day.
For now, this is how I start, slowly pulling myself out of the "must prove myself immediately" mindset.
