Report: A Container Ship Attacked by Iranian Gunfire, Bridge Severely Damaged
On April 22, the UK Maritime Trade Operations Office received a report regarding an incident occurring 15 nautical miles northeast of Oman. The captain of a container ship reported that the vessel was approached by an Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps gunboat. The ship was fired upon, resulting in severe damage to the bridge; however, no fires or environmental impacts have been reported, and all crew members are safe. (Jinshi)
