DOJ Arrests Gannon Van Dyke Over Polymarket Bets on Maduro Raid

The DOJ arrested Army Master Sergeant Gannon Ken Van Dyke after alleging he used confidential information to place $33,000 in Polymarket bets on a raid targeting Nicolas Maduro. An indictment unsealed Thursday says Van Dyke was involved in the planning and execution of the operation and won about $400,000 after the raid. The filing says Van Dyke later withdrew the funds, converted the winnings to bridged USDC, and moved them through a foreign cryptocurrency vault and a brokerage account.
