These past two days, messages in the group are flying by in a frenzy, and KOLs are saying “you’re just one step away from getting on the train” one after another. Basically, information overload most easily pushes people into impulsive checkout. But if you really ask “who should be responsible,” I still think it’s oneself… others can at most be responsible for creating noise; the moment you press confirm is your own hand.

Especially now that Layer 2 has started competing again over TPS, fees, and subsidies—the arguing is as loud as a scramble for the microphone. To me, it looks more like a race driven by emotions: you’re cheap today, I’ll be cheap tomorrow, and in the end it shatters people’s mindset.

I treat “simplicity” as a trap. When I hear things like “explain it in one sentence” or “just blindly follow,” I basically stop first, go check the on-chain data, and see whether there are pitfalls in the penalty rules. I’d rather miss out than get up in the middle of the night to rush a fix—if the nodes don’t go offline, I can catch a nap. My position also has to let me sleep peacefully.
