I was stuck on an on-chain transfer just now for a long time, so I closed the transaction page anyway. Anyway, just staring at the mempool queue won't make it faster… When there's congestion, it's basically a bunch of people pushing through the same gate at the same time. Whoever is willing to pay a higher tip (fee) gets in first. If you don't increase the price, you'll just stay hanging, and if you're unlucky, it might expire and you have to start over. What's more annoying is that you think "it's sent," but in reality, it just entered the waiting room; it's still early before it gets on the chain.

Recently, I've been watching everyone rush for testnet points and guessing whether the mainnet will issue tokens. My attitude is more like watching the fun: the more people queuing, the more the chain struggles, and your transaction is more like being pushed along by the crowd. In a bear market, the safest thing is still to do nothing. If you really need to move, try to do it when there are fewer people, and don't get stuck at the gate with the emotional crowd.
