Tether Freezes $344M USDT After OFAC Flags Sanctions Evasion Links
Tether froze $344 million in USDT held in addresses linked to illicit activity after receiving information from the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control. Tether said the information related to sanctions evasion and criminal networks. Tether added that it has frozen more than $4.4 billion to date, with $2.1 billion tied to cases involving U.S. authorities.
