Seven Departments Issue the “Key Points for National Agricultural Inputs Counterfeit Crackdown and Regulatory Work in 2026”

In order to effectively strengthen the supervision of agricultural materials production and circulation, strictly regulate substandard products, crack down on illegal activities related to agricultural materials, purify the agricultural materials market, safeguard farmers’ rights and interests, ensure the stable and safe supply of grain and important agricultural products, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Supreme People’s Court, the Supreme People’s Procuratorate, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security, the State Administration for Market Regulation, and the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives jointly formulated and issued the “2026 National Agricultural Materials Counterfeit and Supervision Work Guidelines.” Among them, it emphasizes strengthening the supervision of online sales of agricultural materials. Implement the “Special Action Plan for Quality and Safety Supervision of Online Sales of Industrial Products (2025–2027)” issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation and other departments, and enhance the quality and safety supervision of agricultural materials sold online. Urge online trading platforms to strengthen merchant qualification reviews and product information verification, promptly investigate and address issues with merchants and products. Legally investigate and deal with behaviors such as false advertising and illegal promotions by operators within the platform.
