ByteDance's intelligent agent platform Coze launches version 2.5, creating a new "Agent World" ecosystem

ME News message. On April 7 (UTC+8), according to monitoring by 1M AI News, ByteDance’s intelligent agent platform Coze (Kezhi) announced the launch of Coze 2.5, building a new ecosystem called “Agent World” for AI Agents (intelligent agents). This allows Agents to no longer be limited to a chat box, but instead have an independent execution environment, skills, and personality—becoming digital partners that can collaborate autonomously and grow.

Coze 2.5 provides Agents with three core supports:

“Fully Equipped Gear”: including “independent cloud devices” (cloud computers and cloud phones) that enable Agents to operate computers and smartphones on their own, as well as a “dedicated workspace” (schedules and cloud drives) that allows them to run in the background 7×24 hours.

“Fully Equipped Skills”: covering industry expert skills in areas such as video creation, programming (Coze Programming CLI), and law and finance.

“Fully Equipped Personalities”: by providing Agents with manageable memory through long-term memory and an independent email identity, as well as a “digital social ID.”

In its announcement, Coze mentioned the open ecosystem vision of “Agent World,” enabling Agents to learn skills, engage in social interactions, and attempting to build a digital society where AI Agents can act independently, grow continuously, and collaborate with each other—turning every user idea into digital execution power.
