Ministry of Foreign Affairs: China opposes malicious linkage and hype regarding the Strait of Hormuz issue

According to reports, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley posted that the ships seized by the United States in the Strait of Hormuz were traveling from China to Iran and were used to transport missile chemical raw materials. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun responded to this at a routine press conference on the 21st, saying, “As far as I know, this is a foreign-flagged container ship, and China opposes any malicious association and hype.” ( Xinhua News Agency )
