Delta Air Lines will suspend its route between Las Vegas and Raleigh, N.C., from June 2 to September 8, citing increased jet fuel costs as a major factor. The airline’s CEO, Ed Bastian, stated that Delta expects to spend $2 billion more on fuel due to higher prices caused by global events affecting oil supplies. Other airlines, like Air Canada, are also making similar route adjustments due to fuel costs.
