Today, watching the "confirmation wait" on cross-chain bridges, I suddenly felt that this thing is like... or rather... queuing at customs: you think it's slow, but if it were to pass instantly, I’d actually feel uneasy. Multi-signature setups are still "a few people pressing buttons together," which feels more secure than one person holding keys and running around; oracles are even more mysterious—if the data they feed is skewed, the assets on the bridge will also hallucinate along with it. Anyway, I now prefer to wait a few extra minutes when crossing bridges, rather than rush for that tiny speed, and sleep peacefully. By the way, I’m also observing the NFT royalty debate—everyone wants liquidity but also wants to support creators... Basically, everyone is just looking for a "sense of confirmation," but what each person considers as confirmation is different.
