In the past, I only carried a hardware wallet to travel the world, thinking that offline meant everything was safe. Now that my assets have grown a bit, I'm actually more afraid of low-level accidents like "I lost it / I died / I accidentally pressed the wrong button due to a shake"… Hardware wallets are suitable for daily small vaults, worry-free but vulnerable to single points of failure; multi-signature is more like insuring myself, a bit more trouble but can hold back impulsive trades, especially when the market panic makes me want to change plans; restoring social connections sounds great in theory, but in practice, I need to think carefully about whether "friends/family can be guardians," so I don't end up more socially dead than on-chain. Recently, modular and DA layer development talk has excited developers to the point of flying, but users are confused. I’m not planning to chase the narrative for now; I’d rather run through the worst-case scenarios for wallets first—better than anything else.
