OP Labs launches Privacy Boost, a privacy tool for Ethereum ecosystem DeFi applications

ME News, April 22 (UTC+8), OP Labs announced the launch of the privacy product Privacy Boost, initially deployed on the OP mainnet (formerly Optimism), aiming to attract more enterprises into the Ethereum ecosystem. The product functions as a software development kit and API interface, supporting private transfers and cautious interactions with DeFi applications, while also meeting regulatory requirements. Privacy Boost supports self-custody through zero-knowledge proofs and utilizes trusted execution environments to enable fast private transactions, which can be customized according to enterprise KYC rules and audit needs. OP Labs co-founder stated that compliance issues have long hindered traditional financial institutions from going on-chain, and privacy is not an optional feature but a prerequisite for mainstream adoption. Privacy Boost is expected to expand to more blockchains in the coming weeks. (Source: PANews)
