Iran's Permanent Representative to the United Nations: The U.S. lifts sanctions to restart negotiations

Odaily Planet Daily News: Iran’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Iraj Masjedi, stated that Iran is prepared to resume negotiations, but it depends on the United States. If the U.S. lifts the blockade, negotiations will then proceed. Just as Iraj Masjedi made this statement, U.S. President Donald Trump announced an extension of the ceasefire with Iran. However, according to Iran’s Tasnim News Agency, Iran did not request an extension of the ceasefire. The advisor to Iran’s Islamic Parliament Speaker and former head of the negotiation delegation, Ali Kalibaf, also stated via social media that continued blockade and bombing are equivalent, and a military response is necessary.
