Odaily Planet Daily News: U.S. President Donald Trump has nominated Christopher Faren to serve as Chair of the White House Council of Economic Advisers, filling the vacancy left after the previous chair, Stephen Milan, took office as a member of the U.S. Federal Reserve Board in 2025. This nomination has been submitted to the U.S. Senate for approval. Faren previously graduated from Duke University and the University of Chicago in the United States, holds a Ph.D. in Economics, served as a senior economist at the Minneapolis Federal Reserve Bank, and is currently a professor of economics at the University of Minnesota, specializing in macroeconomic theory, incentive mechanisms, and inequality game theory.
