Abstract generation in progress

On the afternoon of April 21, Guo Jingyu, Chairman of Changxin Media and the main creator of the hit drama “Records of the Tang Dynasty,” openly stated at a related forum of iQIYI World Conference: “For dramas that real actors can perform, why must AI create fake people to act?” He said that currently, when people praise AI’s performance, the most important standards are “looking like” and “high face value,” but these are not the criteria for evaluating the quality of a film or TV work. Taking “Nezha” as an example, the protagonist’s initial proportions may not be accurate or even attractive, but after watching the entire film, viewers feel the character becomes more and more vivid, because the image and the character’s unique soul and story move the audience. Guo Jingyu believes that plays with a strong sense of life, distinctive personalities, and a lot of real details are currently difficult for AI to handle, so industry practitioners need not be overly anxious. In the future, excellent artists, stylists, and editors will become increasingly scarce, and screenwriters capable of creating original IP will become the industry’s primary productivity. The more powerful AI becomes, the more valuable the IP will be. (First Financial)
