After the strong earthquake, the Japan Tohoku Shinkansen suspends operation

On the 20th local time, Tohoku Electric Power Company in Japan stated that they are verifying whether there are any abnormalities at the Onagawa Nuclear Power Plant in Miyagi Prefecture, Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, and Fukushima Daini Nuclear Power Plant caused by the earthquake. Due to the impact of the earthquake and other disasters, the Tohoku Shinkansen in Japan has currently suspended operation. According to the Japan Meteorological Agency earlier on the 20th, a magnitude 7.4 earthquake occurred in the waters off northeastern Japan, and a tsunami warning has been issued. (CCTV News)
