The blockchain was a bit congested just now, and my small order to swap for stablecoins was queued in the mempool, making me doubt my life... Clearly I clicked confirm, but it felt like waiting for a train at the station: first the estimated time kept changing, then someone jumped the queue by paying more, and if you don't add more, you can only slowly move forward. If it drags on too long, it might even fail, wasting fees in vain. Watching Layer 2s argue daily about TPS, fees, and subsidies, honestly, I just want an experience of "don't make me wait."

In that moment, I really felt like quitting the wallet and casually uninstalling the app—so frustrating. But thinking about my slow, hedging approach, which isn't suitable for chasing congestion head-on, I decided to keep the slippage and fees conservative. If it doesn't go through, at least I can save some worry... Forget it, being able to sleep peacefully is more important.
