TRON founder Justin Sun held an official meeting in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov. The meeting focused on the global digital financial transformation trend, the development of virtual asset regulatory frameworks, and the strategic layout of the TRON ecosystem in Central Asia, marking a substantive phase of cooperation between TRON and Kyrgyzstan in the fields of blockchain and artificial intelligence. This is TRON’s first deployment in Central Asia.

After the meeting, President Japarov has instructed the Secretariat of the Kyrgyz National Virtual Assets and Blockchain Technology Development Committee to actively promote cooperation between the two sides and ensure that joint initiatives are implemented effectively.

The presidential strategic vision aligns closely with TRON’s core advantages

During the discussion, President Japarov pointed out that modern digital technology is creating a “New Digital Silk Road”—a global network connecting cooperation and financial freedom. He highly recognizes TRON’s technological leadership in the stablecoin infrastructure field and explicitly stated: “Our goal is to make Kyrgyzstan a regional hub for virtual assets and Web3 technology in Central Asia.”

In response, Justin Sun said that TRON, with its high throughput, near-instant transaction finality, and extremely low on-chain fees, has become the core infrastructure for global cross-border USD stablecoin settlement, aligning naturally with Kyrgyzstan’s digital economy strategy. “President Japarov’s forward-looking leadership provides a rare historical opportunity for Kyrgyzstan to lead in the digital age. TRON will support this vision with concrete, implementable projects,” Sun said.

President Japarov also highlighted the establishment of the National Committee for the Development of Virtual Assets and Blockchain Technology, which he personally leads and gathers government agencies and internationally renowned industry experts.

“In less than a year, the committee has made significant progress, making a series of market-oriented decisions, including the potential issuance of a national stablecoin, testing of central bank digital currencies (CBDC), and the launch of pilot regulatory frameworks,” Japarov said.

He pointed out that Kyrgyzstan’s open policy has effectively attracted large tech companies and global experts, and Sun’s visit is strong evidence of the increasing international attention on the country.

“Our strategic goal is to make Kyrgyzstan a regional center for virtual assets and Web3 technology in Central Asia,” President Japarov stated. He also noted that the industry continues to expand, with an increasing number of licensed participants, a progressively完善的监管体系, and accelerated infrastructure projects.
