Every two years, I set a challenge for myself:

To go from zero to one million without any initial capital or connections (not counting existing assets).
In 2023, it was the first time I found a relatively easy job, combined with investing, and reached 1 million in 9 months.
In 2025, it was the second time.
I started monetizing through online writing, also accumulating through investing, and completed 1 million in 6 months.
These two experiences made me more certain of one thing: what is truly valuable is not that one million, but the "ability to start over from zero."
The future still holds uncertainties, but at least I now have the experience of rebuilding cash flow from scratch.

The more detailed path in 2023 was like this:
At that time, I first thought about one thing:
What kind of job allows me to use the least effort to earn a stable cash flow?
In the end, I found a night shift job at a motel.
The monthly salary was about 30k yuan. The main feature of this job is simple: the supervisor is basically sleeping at night, and I sleep too.
It takes about 15 minutes to tidy up a room, and the remaining 30 minutes or so, I almost spend resting.
This allowed me to conserve a lot of energy to do more important things: investing.
Because I had about 9 years of investment experience, mainly in the crypto market at that time.
During that period, I bought a shanzhai coin (name: usual, just sharing real experience, no investment advice), and driven by market trends, I eventually doubled my funds.
It took about 9 months to achieve the goal of going from 0 to 1 million, then I resigned.
First challenge completed.
