Early this morning, KelpDAO's rsETH cross-chain bridge contract was attacked.
The hacker forged cross-chain messages, created rsETH out of thin air, then deposited it into lending protocols like Aave V3 and Compound, borrowing away 116,500 ETH.
Specific impacts:
• Aave V3: loss of $196 million
• Compound V3: loss of $39.4 million
• Euler: loss of $840k
