Hundreds of billions of Hong Kong dollars, a surge of 489%! Hong Kong stock IPOs strongly rebounded in the first quarter, and the "A+H" model became the biggest highlight
Ask AI · How can the A+H model become a hub for mainland enterprises’ global capital deployment?
In the first quarter, the Hong Kong stock IPO market delivered an eye-catching performance of “financing of one trillion Hong Kong dollars,” a quarterly high since the second quarter of 2021. Data shows that, as of March 31, the Hong Kong stock market had 40 companies that completed IPOs, up 150% year over year; the total amount of funds raised was close to 110 billion Hong Kong dollars, up 489% year over year. These figures highlight the attractiveness and financing capability of the Hong Kong stock market.
“A+H” companies became the core force behind fundraising in the first quarter. Among the 40 newly listed companies on the Hong Kong stock market, 15 are A+H dual-listed companies. Among the top 10 companies by financing scale, 7 are already listed on the A-shares market, and the combined financing scale of the 7 exceeds 52 billion Hong Kong dollars, accounting for nearly half of the total IPO financing in the Hong Kong stock market in the first quarter—showcasing the strategic position of the Hong Kong stock market as an important hub for mainland enterprises’ global capital deployment.
