The KelpDAO incident triggered a whale to withdraw funds from Aave, causing the TVL to drop 16.78% in a single day.
Mars Finance reports that on April 19, according to Defillama data, KelpDAO hackers borrowed a large amount of ETH from Aave. For risk-avoidance purposes, a large number of whales withdrew funds from Aave. As a result, Aave’s TVL fell to $21.966 billion, down 16.78% from yesterday’s $26.396 billion.
