Fake Ledger Live app removed from Apple App Store

Mars Finance reports that on April 16, according to Finance Feeds, Apple has confirmed that after on-chain investigations showed more than 50 victims with a total loss of $9.5 million in cryptocurrency within a week, the company has removed a fraudulent app impersonating Ledger Live, a self-custody wallet, from the App Store. Previously, on-chain detective ZachXBT revealed that this counterfeit Ledger Live app was listed between April 7 and April 13, 2026. The losses involve multiple blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Tron, and Ripple.
