Last night I couldn’t sleep again, staring at the market. When I got itchy hands and wanted to cross-chain to chase opportunities, I got stuck in the “waiting for confirmation” few minutes, which actually pulled me back: moving a bit slower can really save your life. Bridges, to put it simply, are trust packages; whether the multi-signature signers are reliable or whether the oracle data feeding in will go haywire are not things I can control. The only things I can control are not rushing, not over-leveraging, and not impulsively rushing in during late-night brain heat. Recently, everyone’s been talking about rate cut expectations and the dollar index. The feeling of risk assets rising and falling together is quite obvious, but the more this sentiment kicks in, the more crossing chains feels like throwing yourself into a black box to gamble. Today I’ll be a bit slower, willing to earn less, rather than pay more tuition fees again.
