Ukrainian President Zelensky stated on the 19th that the peace talks surrounding Ukraine, which were paused due to the Middle East situation, should be resumed. The political members of Ukraine’s negotiating team have already set out, and they are expected to meet with U.S. representatives in the United States on the 21st. This will be the first bilateral U.S.-Ukraine meeting since the large-scale military operation launched by the U.S. and Israel against Iran on February 28. According to the Ukrainian International Information Agency, Zelensky said in a video speech on the evening that the U.S. has signaled to Ukraine that, in order to end the war, they are prepared to continue working in the “current negotiation format.” Ukraine is making every effort to make the negotiations truly meaningful. Zelensky said on the 14th that it is still unclear when the U.S.-Ukraine-Russia trilateral talks, delayed due to the Middle East situation, will restart. (Sina Finance)
