Lately, I’ve been getting a bit nervous again because of the “oracle price feed delay”… I’m just someone who likes to watch airdrops, but once I go long/short with leverage, I can’t stop thinking about it: the price is already dumping out there, while on-chain it still looks like “everything is calm,” and once the price feed updates, liquidations come all at once—like you’re doing catch-up homework—giving you absolutely no time to react. The worst part is you think you still have some buffer, but it’s really just an illusion created by the delay.
Over these past couple of days, I’ve been seeing some regions tighten or loosen taxes and compliance, back and forth—when deposit and withdrawal expectations change, the volatility gets even more emotional. If the oracle is delayed by another beat, it feels like, “people panic first, and on-chain notices later.” Anyway, I’d rather make a little less now and move the liquidation line further away—don’t count on your reaction speed being able to beat the update frequency… for now, that’s how it is.
