The Israeli military claims to have attacked port cities along Iran's Caspian Sea coast, destroying multiple naval vessels.

On the 19th local time, the Israel Defense Forces stated that on the evening of the 18th, they launched airstrikes on the port city of Bandar Anzali along the northern coast of the Caspian Sea in Iran, destroying several Iranian Navy vessels and related infrastructure. The IDF said that this attack destroyed one frigate, four missile fast boats, as well as multiple auxiliary ships and patrol boats, while also hitting command centers and shipbuilding facilities, some of which were located inside the port and others at sea. The IDF stated that this is the first time in this round of conflict that they have targeted this region of Iran, and they claimed that the relevant missile boats have air defense and anti-submarine capabilities, which could pose a threat to Israeli military operations over Iran.
