Lately I've been checking cross-chain bridge transaction records again, and the more I look, the more I feel that "waiting for confirmation" isn't procrastination; it's giving myself time to retreat... Multi-signature setups are basically "a few people not all being stupid at the same time," but when there are many people, they can also be baited together; oracles are more like the bridge's eyes, and a flicker of their gaze can lead you into a ditch.

My mom just asked me: If the money is already on the chain, why do I still have to wait so long? I just replied with half a sentence: It's not slow internet, it's because I'm worried the bridge didn't really receive it, or someone might be tampering in the middle.

By the way, looking at the social mining and fan token wave, everyone is fighting for attention like fighting for block space, and it feels like "attention is mining" isn't entirely false, but more like gambling on who can settle last... Anyway, I try to minimize cross-chain transfers; if I do go, I wait for a few more confirmations to keep a steady mindset.
