Korean media: Lee Jae-myung holds a lunch meeting with visiting Ishiba Shigeru at the Blue House

According to Yonhap News Agency, South Korean President Lee Jae-myung held a lunch meeting with former Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba during his visit to Cheong Wa Dae on April 8.
It was reported that Lee Jae-myung stated at the meeting that Shigeru Ishiba promoted the development of Korea-Japan relations during his tenure as Japanese Prime Minister, and the Korean side expressed its gratitude for this.
He also said that Shigeru Ishiba has a “broad vision and cares about international issues,” and hopes he can continue to contribute amid the complex international situation.
