KKR will invest $820 million in Samsung SDS by purchasing convertible bonds

Mars Finance News April 15 – American private equity giant KKR announced that it will invest 1.22 trillion Korean won (approximately $12.2k) in Samsung SDS through the purchase of convertible bonds. According to the cooperation agreement, KKR will work closely with Samsung SDS through its managed funds on a series of initiatives aimed at creating value for the company, including supporting organic and inorganic growth strategies, accelerating the company’s expansion as a full-stack artificial intelligence solutions provider, and exploring new business areas. KKR will also actively provide consulting services to Samsung SDS’s management team, especially in mergers and acquisitions, capital allocation, and supporting the company in seeking global strategic growth opportunities.
