Mars Finance News: On April 15th, local time, OpenAI announced that it will allow certain users to access a new model that is better at discovering software security vulnerabilities. Just a week ago, competitor Anthropic PBC announced a limited release of their AI tool Mythos. The developer of ChatGPT stated that they have begun rolling out the GPT-5.4-Cyber model, aimed at identifying issues in software for organizations to fix. The model also has fewer restrictions on user probing methods when used for such tasks. This model will be available to some participants in OpenAI’s “Trusted Access for Cyber” program, which the company launched in February to allow certain customers and cybersecurity professionals to test the company’s most powerful products. OpenAI plans to expand participation in this early access program. Initially, hundreds of users will be allowed to test this new model, with plans to increase to thousands in the coming weeks.
