Lately, I've been reauthorizing permissions again, which feels like locking the door before going to sleep: not necessarily that someone will break in tonight, but if something does happen, it’s a wave that takes everything away. In the past, for the sake of convenience, I’d click “Unlimited” whenever a contract pop-up appeared, essentially handing over my wallet keys to strangers for safekeeping without telling myself when to get them back.
Now, AI Agents and automated trading narratives are quite popular, and everyone is talking about “letting robots interact with the blockchain on my behalf,” but I care more about what exactly they sign for me and how long the permissions last. If you really want to be lazy, that’s fine—just set a reminder: revoke permissions after use, don’t wait until the project gets hacked or the front end gets malware… Anyway, I’d rather have fewer “smooth experiences” and sleep more peacefully.
