Recently, people keep asking me: why does on-chain data always "lag" a bit, especially when it comes to unlocking calendars, and after refreshing for a long time with no movement, they start to feel anxious about sell pressure... To put it simply, it's not that the chain suddenly forgets, but that the layer you're watching is gasping for air. Indexers/Subgraphs need to first fetch the new blocks before processing, and delays happen when there's reorganization or queue buildup; plus, with RPC rate limiting, during market volatility, everyone checks at once, resulting in 429 errors or timeouts, making it seem like "nothing's happening." I now trust data more, but only when it's cross-verified from multiple sources: for the same abnormal transfer, I switch between two RPCs and cross-check with explorers; my intuition tells me it's just a warning that "something's off," not a conclusion. Anyway, don’t panic by just looking at one dashboard—first, clarify the data flow.
