Announcement of the Xi'an Yanliang District Market Supervision Administration on Food Quality Information of 12 Batches of Qualified Food and 1 Batch of Non-Qualified Food (2026 No. 3 )

Recently, the Yanliang District Market Supervision Administration of Xi’an City organized sampling inspections of six categories of foods: catering foods, pastries, meat products, dairy products, seasonings, and edible agricultural products, totaling 13 batches of samples. Among these, 12 batches passed the inspection, and 1 batch failed. The inspection and judgment were based on the national food safety standards, the enterprise standards registered as valid, and the product explicit standards. The specific details are as follows (see Attachments 2 and 3):

1. Overall Situation

One batch of seasoning, one batch failed; one batch of catering food, one batch of pastries, two batches of meat products, one batch of dairy products, and seven batches of edible agricultural products all passed.

2. Details of Non-conforming Products

The Liangjiang ginger sold by Hangfei Dried Vegetable Seasoning Store in Yanliang District, Xi’an City, was found to have a residual sulfur dioxide level of 0.541 g/kg, which is prohibited from use by standards. The testing agency was Huayan Testing Group Co., Ltd.

3. Regarding the above non-conforming products found in the sampling inspection, our bureau is currently investigating and punishing the production and business units in accordance with the Food Safety Law of the People’s Republic of China. Relevant information will be announced to the public after the investigation and rectification are completed.
