ME News Report, April 2 (UTC+8), according to the latest insider information, the issuance process for Hong Kong’s first batch of compliant stablecoin licenses has temporarily been delayed, and no official representatives have made a public response yet.

According to previous media reports, the first batch of stablecoin issuer licenses in Hong Kong was originally scheduled to be issued in March 2026, but has not been officially announced as of now. A spokesperson from the Hong Kong Monetary Authority responded that the HKMA is actively pushing forward the licensing process and will announce it to the public in due course. (Source: ME News)
